Best Largie Fishing In Nh Iyo

Featured Replies

Looking to see what everyone's opinion is about which lakes produce the best large mouth fishing in NH.

From the places i have fished on a regular basis this year,  The Nashua River ( a lot of area to fish and learn) , Pawtuckaway Lake (gets a lot of pressure and takes time to learn this place), Turtle pond in Concord. (Also gets a lot of people fishing it)  Read thru the posts in the southern nh thread.  Read all 90 or so pages.  There is so much info there it is crazy.

Connecticut River set-backs and oxbows.

Highland Lake, Merrimack River, Turtle, Bow Lake, Crooked Pond, Half moon Pond. Take your pick. There are monsters in all those places. " Best" is also a relative term. For sheer numbers, tough to beat Squam and Winni, but takes more time than I have put in to find the big ones.

GreatEast, Lee Mills and Lovelle have been the lunker lakes for me.
