Anybody used the phenix m1 7'8" heavy or extra heavy for fishing jigs n plastics? What is your opinion on the rod? I am thinking of using it for 3/8 oz jigs n plastics.

    I use the 7'2 H/XF. I like it a lot. Light, crisp, balances well. I like it for heavier jigs, trigs and c rigs.
