Went to Carlyle Lake yesterday and caught some very nice black bass. Most all were nice keepeers. All were fat as pigs. Released them all. I was using a green sinko with a small split shot weight.

No, Eric, I haven't been to Carlyle before.

I mainly fish the public lakes managed by the Mo dept. of Conservation - Jefferson, Queeny, Simpson... etc. I also fish a private lake complex called Innsbrook near Wright City. Finally if I get the chance I go to Tablerock, LOZ, and Taneycomo.

Is the fishing better in your neck of the woods or over here by carlyle?
