R.c Lomgmeir Lake, Ok.... Info?

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone on here has fished this lake recently. Everything I can dig up is 5-20 years old. Apparently this lake holds some rather good size fish. Just wanting to know if this is still a good lake? Any and all info on this lake would be much appreciated.

I haven't fished it in a little over a year. It holds good size bass & crappie. If you go be sure to give us a report.

I'd never heard of it until now. Pictures show some nice cover. I may head that way on these next days off and give it a shot.

little late on the report. fishing was slow most of the day. i pulled in 4 total. three lmb ranging in size from 3-5 lbs. and one white bass that grabed my lure right as i was about to bring it out of the water. very short fight as i just raised my pole with about 4 ft of line out, all were released. as for the lake, it has tremendous potential for holding large bass. we explored the lake for part of the day. my friend forgot to pack his balls and was to scared to go into some areas of the lake for fear of damaging the boat, that and he refused to step away from lures he was comfortable with (spinners and spoons), and got skunked as a result. i will deffinatley go back with my boat in the spring. for those that don't know the lake, its a city lake, 3 bucks to fish per person 5 bucks for a boat pass, and can be bought from wal mart in pauls valley. the limits for bass are 3 over 22'' in length. the chances of pulling a large fish out of this lake are very good.

Thanks for the report man. We had an employee that got sick so I worked all my days off. I am planning on make the trip out there Wednesday.
