Pro Troll e-chip lures

Featured Replies

Has anyone used these lures with the e-chip? I find it hard to believe that something that works as good as they claim would cost so little.

Do they work or is it just another marketing gimmick?

I never heard of it....I had to look it up.

It does sound and look a little gimmicky. However i do use rattles with jigs and plastic and such. Can't be much difference?  :-/

kinda seems a little gimmicky, but if you consider the scientific elements of a bass' senses (electroreception), it kinda seems viable

I have not noticed any real difference yet when bass fishing. However the reason I tried it in the first place was I did see a huge difference ( over the last 2 years ) when sturgeon fishing. Our catch ratio was like 4 to 1 with the e-chip. So far I have only tried it on faster moving baits. It may work better on more subtle baits when the bite has shut down. I am going to really put it to the test this winter when the fish have lock jaw and see what happens.
