Hey, I'm from Brazil and I'll be in Charlottesville on December/13 and 14 and while there I would love to try some bass or trout fishing.

 

Pardon me if this question will sound stupid, but I wonder if is it possible to fish at Mint Springs Park or Chris Greene Lake Park on those dates? I wonder if is the winter a concern?

 

Also, can I fly fish trout at Mint Springs without a boat?

 

I'll probably record some footage for my father's Brazilian TV Fishing Show (www.pescadinamica.com.br), so if anyone wants to partner with me I'd love to record with you, specially that it will be my first time fishing on the US.
