Have not had a chance to fish it yet but I spent some time casting my new mettle reel in the yard on Thanksgiving and holy crap is this thing smooth. Hoping it holds up well on the water and if does I will buy several next time I catch them on sale. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and a merry start to the Christmas season. Tight lines and happy fishing!

    If you see them now, I'd grab as many as you can at the 30-40 dollar price. They are discontinuing it and replacing it with an updated version. All 4 local Academys here are sold out as is the website.
