Shimano Reels For Christmas Presents

Featured Replies

I just purchased five shimano spinning reels for christmas presents. I never had a shimano in my hand before they feel decent. The bail closes smoothly too. I got the kids and there spouses bass rods too. There not high end because I want to see if they fish more first. Maybe I can motivate them more.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. Remember Jesus tis the reason for the season. It's a time to reflect on the family members we lost over the many years there gone but not forgotten. But we welcome the new family members too.

My new grandson is 3yo now. He loves my tractors, dirtbikes and quads. I got him a new spincast fishing setup, four R/C construction equipment to play with. He loves digging in the dirt already. He sits on my tractor with his dad raising and lowering the plow blade already. I can't wait till he gets on the loader.

God bless, hug your kids everyday and tell them you love them. Bigbill

Yup, I make sure to let my girl and my grandsons know that I love them every time I see them.  I tried to talk my youngest grandson into going fishing with me before it got cold, but at 2 months old (4 months now), he didn't seem to be interested.  :teeth3::smile11:

No fishing related gifts this year for anyone in the family but me. :xmasicon_mrgreen::laughing9:

I am slowing catching my rod count up to my reel count.  The Fuego spinning rod evens out my spinning reels.  Need to do a count of my casting reels.  Think I still need a couple more rods to even things out.  Problem is I am getting the Jones for another reel.  That Tatula or Tatula Type-R is on my list of must haves.  :teeth:

My little girl (4months), seems to already be eyeing the Disney Princess fishing poles at Wal-Mart. :)

Great post, we could all use a reminder what the season is about. Not gifts, not decorations, not any of the holiday hullabaloo. First it's about Jesus being born, providing us a all chance, and about being with loved ones.

Take time out this season to reflect on what's important.

Then on Dec. 26th, start planning for warmer weather and fishing!!!
