Featured Replies

Received my lew's bb1 pro series 7.1:1 today. Free Spool test out of the box and a side by side comparison with the Lew's BB1.

K2 & G3 Korea? Does anyone know what that means? My guess would be that it is being made in different factories.

Had a chance to look at the reels more. The bb1 and bb1 pro are pretty much identical except for a few things. Difference is handle material, gear ratio, braid ready spool, side plate and external adjustable centrifugal brakes. However, I was able to swap the spool and side plate.

The side plate didn't fit on smoothly. Had to use a little muscle to get fit and it didn't click once the side plate was on. The brakes and spool work like it should.

I might just buy an extra bb1 pro spool (comes assembled with spool shaft, pin, bearing, and brakes) and side plate. Then slap it onto the bb1. :)

This fits perfectly and clicks when I slide on the side plate. The brakes and spool works like it should.

Do you have a Tournament Pro? If so, how would you compare the BB1 Pro to the TP? Thanks!

I don't have a TP.

BB1 Pro casting distance video coming soon.
