I'm thinking about putting together a heavy pitching set up in the next few months and wanted to get a few opions on the above reels. Both are around the same price with the Metanium being on the ligher side.

 

I have two Core 100MG's and love both of them to death. I was thinking of stepping up a bit in speed over the 100MG though. Which would be a better reel for pitching into the nasty cover.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one. I have been really pleased with my Mg7s in the heavy stuff.

Thanks. I know the MG7 has proven its self I was curious about the new micro gearing on the Metanium.
