I got their catalog with a letter inside, stating that their Eager Beavers and Hog Assassins are all being discontinued but I don't know why? I thought those were their best sellers?

    eager beaver? I suppose you are talking about their jingle bug?I find no "Eager Beaver" on their website. I went to their website and I cant find the Hogg Assassins anymore,and there are no beaver style baits in their inventory reduction/ items to be discontinued page:

    Ill post a photo of the thing they sent me but it said they were discontiuing those styles which apparently they have.

    Eager Beaver= hand poured beaver style bait. It was a very good, cheaper alternative to the reaction innovation bait.  Oh well.
