Daiwa Lexa 100

I just got the 7.1 Lexa 100 for christmas and since it's still the off season, I was just wondering what kind of modifications can I make to it?  I could upgrade the bearings, but I'm under the impression that many daiwa parts are interchangeable...am I mistaken?  I'm not dead set on modifying the reel, but I am curious as to what is possible.

Have the same reel, unmodded. I've considered changing out the handle to a Hawg Tech, but just did so for my Chronarch, so that project is delayed.

Found the stock Lexa 100 to be just fine as-is, although I'm sure better bearings might make a difference.

It is a good, solid, all-around reel. You'll enjoy it.

I have a Lexa 100 HSL.  You can upgrade to another handle, but it's going to be mostly for looks.  The stock handle can accept 2 more bearings under the knobs.  There are no other spools that fit, so you are stuck with the stock one, although a polish of the tips may be helpful.  I think (99% sure) that you can add a bearing under the cast control cap.  There is no way of adding a levelwind bearing either.  A Carbontex drag is a good idea for better consistancy.
