Has anyone thrown one of these yet? It has a really big profile and decent colors. I know a certain flat that the big girls like to hang out on in Feb/March when they get active. These could be an option.

Sorry to take away from your thread, but what is the correct size hook for these?

Hook size in my mind is what I can get away with. Ive been known to use 11/0 hooks at times. However most of this style bait I use the Owner Beast hooks. As big as I can go and not hurt the action. I think I usually start with a 6/0.
