I will be headed out for the first trip of the year tomorrow, i would like to hear the baits/lures you would suggest. im going to a small lake, about 35 acres, it has a creek channel running down one bank that is about 12-15 feet deep and slowly gets shallower as you move across to the other bank,about 300 yards wide. it was extremely cold about a week ago, but has slowly warmed up and tomorrows high is 55. visibility 3-4 feet. what would you be throwing?

also that is where the fish in my avatar pic was caught, so i know there are some good 4-8 pounders in there.

Cold water...I'd have suspending jerkbait on for sure. probably a jig as well
