My son and I are considering fishing some tournaments this year with Shenandoah Valley Bass Association.  They fish areas close to you and aren't as expensive as some.  It's a team tournament so you'd have to find a partner.

Hey champ, if you wanna fish some of there tournaments let me know, I'm ready.

Champ,

There's a club based out of Richmond that fishes Lake Chesdin, Chickahominy River, James River and Appomattox River if you're interested.  Message me if you want some more info.

Go to "Links" at the top of the Forum pages and then go to Bass Clubs.

Scroll down to Virginia and look at the two last entries.

Pull up their web pages and check the names of the clubs in your area.

Contact the club's or the Region executives about joining one of the clubs.

In your area the clubs fish a lot of waters including the Potomac, Lake Anna, Rapp, Pamunkey, Mattaponi, Historic James, Chick and sometimes they travel to Buggs and Gaston.
