Pulled the trigger on the new Kistler Pro Series Heavy 7'3 Fast Casting Rod. As i was told for those who are familiar with their Carbon Steel series, the Pro Series is a refinement of that blank with Cork handle, Marco guides, and Lighter from the previous late model blanks. Only downsize is that this rod is made in China & inspected to a full extent in Texas, which i don't blame them for such a competitive rod market. Cant wait to see how this rod holds up, Not expecting it to perform like my other KLX or Helium, but hopefully worth every hard earn penny or return it for another KLX

how do you like them?

I have used Micro mags in the past and really like them a lot.  I have two Kistler carbon steels and I really like these rods a lot too!  My Team daiwa zillion rods have taken a back seat to the over less than half the price Kistlers as of late.  For the price I am very happy.  It was either these or the duckett white ice.
