Hi,

 

I'm getting my gear ready for Spring fishing and I'd like any opinion on the setups I'm considering.   (especially if you think there are better ways to combine rods/reels/lines for specific applications.

    I wouldn't switch any combos around but I would use the PQ/mx combo for trig,tube bottom contact presentation and the triumph/JM combo for lipless etc applications.

    Reason being that a slower action rod will be better for treble hook applications.

    Looks good to me, but 100lb fluro leader will work for muskies... But I've had problems with fraying and breaking ect until I got to 130# FC leaders. Just my .02 though. Definitely have caught muskies on 80lb Greg Thomas hybrid fluro leaders...
