I was looking for some muskie plugs at gander today and saw some pointers. I couldn't see paying 15 dollers for a lure. But I have to problem paying 10 plus for a muskie lure. I really have to clue why but iam that way. You stand a better chance of loseing a lure to a muskie then a bass. But I still cant pay 15 dollers for a lucky craft. By the way I spent about 20 dollers on three muskie plugs.

They really are fine baits.  But I too would be apprehensive if I fished waters with a healthy population of toothy fish.

Try ebay and get them used.  You can usually find them for around $10-11 dollars.
