I have a 6 ft slow action rod i was wondering what it could be used for.

You could use a slow action rod for cranking, live bait presentations....

As Darren said. Baits with smaller treble hooks like crankbaits.

As stated above, your rod seems to be made for treble hook baits.

 

Do you know how to set a treble hook bait? If not, we can tell you.

 

And do you have any idea of the rod's construction: glass or graphite?

 

What is stamped on the rod about its parameters of line test and bait weight plus anything else?
