Just curious what you guys think. It's between a quantum accurist, lews speed spool or an Abu orra. My budget is $100. I'll be matching it up w a st.croix MH fast 6'6" rod.

Honestly I would pick up a lews tournament MG on eBay for that price. 14lb drag, deep spool for heavy line, long 95mn handle, external brake adjustment.

It's a step up from the regular speed spool, orra or accurist

Out of those choices, I'd pick the Lew's. I do agree with looking at sales and what not, try to get up to the MG. Don't know if you've consider it, but I'd put the Daiwa Lexa or even the Tatula above anything you mentioned. They can be found right at $100, or a few bucks over.
