I tried one of these for the first time today at the pond. Water was 41* and fish were on bottom at about 13-15'.

 

Great vibration with light 8# PP braid. I was actually using the 1/8 oz. I was going slow on the trolling motor till I marked fish. Turned of the motor and cast back behind me. Let it sink to the bottom and then held my rod at 10 oclock. Lifted it to 12 oclock and with tight line let it go back to bottom. Only had a couple hours but got three about 14". 

 

Not the cheapest in the world so am glad my little opond does not have much brush in the middle where I was fishing.
