Sit Inside Kayak?

Featured Replies

I posted a few days ago about how  I got my first kayak and decided to go with the perception caster 12.5.The next order of business now is getting one for my wife. She's not really big into fishing, but would probably fish some of the times she comes with me and other times just come to paddle and get some exercise and spend some time together. She said she wants a sit inside, and I'd like to keep the budget around $400. can anyone recommend any beginner sit insides around this price range that would be decent to fish out of? A couple we've looked that she says she likes are the BPS Ascend ones and the Old Town Vapor 10 angler.

since its a part time thing I would look for a cheap one as long as it has a real seat...maybe thats not possible tho with a cheap one. In my area I see lots of the Dicks or other cheaper ones often for 200-400 used.

X2 for Dicks. Also, look at Craigslist. Good luck, todd

Decided to go with the Old Town Vapor. Went on sale for $300 at Academy this week and we jumped on it.
