Ozarks Bait Shops

Featured Replies

Looking for quality bait shops around the osage beach area that carry a good selection of baits. Let me know if you know of anything.

Bryant's Osage Outdoors is far and away the best bait and tackle experience I've had down at LOZ. Although it's located in Laurie off 5 HWY (not Osage Beach, I know) I felt obligated to mention them. Best selection and reliable hours I've ever found down there.

I went to L of Oz last year for the first time. I didn't bring the boat because it was a family thing. Now I wish I had taken it. I fished from the shore with my grandson and caught a few nice bass.

We stopped at the Osage Bch Bait and Tackle on the way to the State Park where we fished. I think they call it the Graize Arm (or something like that). Anyway, it's a cool little store. They have lots of stuff (a little pricey, I thought). I bought two buzzbaits of an interesting design. They were built with a flat head long enough for the blade to hit the head on each turn. Really made a lot of noise in the water.

Look forward to our next trip when I WILL take the boat.

Bryant's is a fantastic place to shop. Great staff and selection. I always stop at Everharts in Clinton, not even close to Osage but I have to drive right past it. The monkey makes me stop.

It's been a while since I've been down there but we used to go to Van Hook Bait and Tackle on HWY 5 just north of camdenton. I believe it's on "old" hwy 5 so you might have to get on google maps and check it out, but it's not more than a mile or two outside of town.
