Chronarch 100D7

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I have a BNIB CH100D7, and I need some help on what I should do with it.  I pretty much and down to three options, and don't know where to go from here.

1) Fish it as is

2) Put a Hawtech handle on it with new bearings

3) Trade/Sell it

I know this is a very strong reel, but don't know what I should do with it.  How can this reel handle light lures?

Cheers

Option 1. What is the panic about? Its a decent reel. Use it as is. Fish anything you want on it that you would with a 7 to 1. Gear ratio.

Again I don't know what the panic about.... Put it on a jig, t rig, pitching rod, flipping rod, frog rod....

No panic at all.  Thanks for your opinion.

Agree with Teal. Fish it, its a fishing reel. They dont go bad or anything.

Its a pretty nice reel that isnt made anymore. You cant buy a nicer reel for what you can sell it for, so fish it.

Flush the bearings and theyll fish really light weights like a champ.

I have two with Hawtech handles and upgraded bearings. Do not let them go, they are amazing.
