I'm going to Florida this spring break and am aloud to take my fishing gear this year and i was wondering where near port charlotte has good bass fishing!

    Lake Betty Park off Conway Blvd.

    9 mile canal a.k.a. Cocoplum Waterway, its on the county line between Charlotte and Sarasota counties.

    Webb Lake in Cecil Webb WMA just south of Punta Gorda at I75 and Tuckers Grade.

    Look at google earth and you will see a series of canals north of US 41. They are fresh on the north side but can be very hard to find a shore accessible spot.
