Has Anyone Ever Used/made Those Bottle Cap Lures?

They look pretty cool and fun to mess around with. Anyone have any success with them?

Never done so myself, but it does look interesting.

During last year's bout of cabin fever I managed to make a bottle cap lipless crank. I didn't catch anything with it but it did wobble... sometimes. I'll have to find a picture, believe I used an Optimator cap, thinking red and white was a solid classic color scheme, lol.

I made a spoon out of a dime, drilled two holes in it, put a split ring on one side for a line tie, and a split ring with a small treble hook on the second hole. Caught some GIANT crappies jigging it off a dock, and also a few rock bass. pretty rewarding to catch fish on a lure you made.
