I have a certain crankbait....that is "the ONE"....but the brand does not make it in SILENT....has anyone tried quieting the rattle? (drilling a hole inserting glue and resealing) or some other slick way to accomplish the "silent".

 

 

yep - but it is a project fraught with the danger of losing balance and/or action - you really need to try and have the rattle centered whilst you inject an adhesive, good luck.

email the tackle company. Tackle companies rely on customer feed back to make their business better. Tho itd take a lot of time before seein anything on the market but your comments along with other anglers will drive the company to develop the bait in a silent model.

What is the bait? There might be an equivilent from another company that might have a silent version...
