What started out as a fairly nice weather day, partly cloudy, 48 degrees quickly turned into a blustery chilly morning after a cold front rolled thru with steady 15 - 25 winds and gusts to 30 mph.
Water temps in the 46 - 50 degree range should have had a decent bite going, but muddy waters and the frontal system had most of the bass hunkered down.
The bite was off and most fish caught were done fishing slow either jigs or slow rolling traps or spinnerbaits.
