I will be leaving for Florida this Week on Friday, yet to go out bass fishn' yet up here in Wisconsin.  We will be staying in Panama city, and I was wondering if there were any places to fish for bass from the shore?  I would really liked to see what Florida has to offer even though I will be on the shore..... THANKS A TON

    If you can find a lake to bass fish thats great, but I would suggest fishing for redfish or speckled trout in the St. Andrews Bay/ State park as it may be closer to you and easier to access. You can use lots of the sames bass tackle for these fish - rattletraps, flukes, topwaters, jerkbaits etc. Just be sure to rinse your equipment well after use in saltwater.

    Look for the Florida state parks app on your smart phone. I know Apple has it. It will locate places close by and let u know what activities are available.
