There are on sale right now at Cabelas from $99 to $69.

Anyone have any experience with the Cabelas .Tournament ZX bait casting and spinning rod?

Are they good? Worth the money? How do they stack up against other rods?

    I have a Tournament ZX 7'6" flipping rod Heavy action.  It is extremely light and I like the grips on it.    They are almost like WINN golf club grips.
    The tip is probably a little more stiff than I would prefer, but it is a Heavy action.  I have only had if for a month or so, but I like it so far.  I didn't know about the sale, I might need to go to Cabelas and pick up a spinning rod.

    Yeah, $69 a rod isn't bad and they are the Outdoor Life rod of the year.
