Antique Rapala

Featured Replies

Don't know if anyone here is much of an antique lures guy, but I stumbled upon an antique Rapala dated 1954. new in original box. Anyone know much about this lure, or its value?

Also you cant see it but on the belly of it it says Finland.

Curious as to how you stumbled across it? If you don't want to mention it I understand.

I'm thinking to the right person(collector) that lure could be worth a lot of money. It wasn't until the 60's that american anglers started catching on to the rapala craze.
