Why didn't I bring my bass rods and bass lures. I forgot how boring trout fishing can be. I had fun casting lures for two hours but not one trout to show for my trip. I did have a strike but he got off.

I sat on a big rock for over two hours and casted with all the back pain I could stand.

    Ya trout fishing can be pretty slow, my cousin and I had our lines in the water for over 3 hours before we got out first bite.

    Also if you have a bad back you should consider getting a folding camping chair, probably more comfortable than rocks
