In the past I have owned several larger powerboats and I don't remember having problems with the anchor lines tingling all the time.

I now have a small kayak  that I  fish from and the rope I have that is only some 50 foot long  will not stop tingling on me.

The rope I have is plenty to hold the kayak with the small anchor but I seem to spend a lot of time untangling it.

So what type of rope should I be using? Is there a special type of rope?
