Shore (Pond) Rod/reel?

Featured Replies

I'm a weekend warrior and looking for a 2 rod setups that I can get away with what I do. I currently have a PQ matched with a bass mojo rod. That is spooled with 30# PP braid. What kinda tackle would u use with that and what spinning reel/rod/line would you recommend for smaller plastics? Looking to spend around $150 for everything. Right now I am using my pfluger ultra-light for plastics lol

I run a 6'6" mh/f Carbonlite and pflueger president XT with 30# braid. Handles anything my caster can't

St croix 6'8" mxf, 7mf, or 6'6/7'ml in whatever series you can afford. If you already have a spinning reel just slap it on your new rod with some braid.

St croix 7' med fast spinning rod or if this is too pricey a Carbonlite same specs is very good too. Daiwa Aird spinning reel..you get a spare spool...so put 20# braid on one and 8 lb seagur Invizix on the other.
