    Congrats on a great catch! Trust me, you will catch a bigger one soon enough, there are some really big peas in these canals. Try the Kendall Lakes area, I believe the state record came from those lakes (at least at one point it was).

    Well this was a surprise. I could see him in the water and didn't look as big as he was when I pulled out this big'un. I didn't have a scale with me but it was definitely more than my previous PB which was 5. This felt like 10 but can't be sure.
