Need Help With Minn Kota Trolling Motor Part.

Featured Replies

I have a Minn Kota Maxxum 54 trolling motor.  It was given to me if I can fix it.  I am still testing a few parts but all is pointing back to the circuit board is bad.  The recomended replacement part number is #2884052.  About anywhere I can find the part is $200.  Here is my delima.

is a 10+ year old trolling motor worth $200 fix??

does anyone know where I can find this a lot cheaper???

Just dont know that much about this motor and it may be worth it just need some opinions.  Thanks Brian

You can get used ones for $400 in great shape, so if you fix yours for $200 than you are still saving $200 over replacement cost, so yes its worth it.
