Be glad it's your kid and not your wife that's been outfishing you.  I'll tell you what, they develop the memory of an elephant the first time that happens, but only from that outing on.  Great to see you share your time with the little guy, even if he doesn't develop a passion for the sport, I guarantee you're adding nails to the bond between you two.
