What's the difference? If I get a fluorocarbon line whayd yhr difference between the leader material

If you are use to throwing fluro already the difference is nothing. Some anglers like to have the best of both worlds when they fish. Meaning taking advantage of the benefits of braid along with the benefits of fluro. Leaders are preference for some, and not for others. You have to experience the 2 yourself to come up with your own conclusion. That's just my .02.

@BassinLou maybe I should have changed it around. I'm asking if I have fluorocarbon line in my tackle box...but have braid on my reel. Would it be ok if I just use that line or have to have leader material

I use abrazx and Invisx both from filler spools, they both have been descent with abrasion resistance and that so that works me. I doubt you will see a great difference on bass tackle using leader material except at the cash register.

I use fluorocarbon filler spools as leader all the time, Bass pro or similar retail shops often sell "fluorocarbon leader" that is available in various lb tests, and is priced at a point that it is obviously supposed to be superior to regular fluorocarbon line.. however as mentioned above, I doubt you'd realize much of a difference when using FC "leader" material versus regular FC line... Like i said I use regular FC line as a leader all the time (tied to braid main line) and have yielded spectacular results.
