What chum is the best? Like oatmeal or bread etc. What method works best too?

For saltwater whiners we poked holes in a can of sardines. I never tried it in freshwater. We used hard stale bread too.

Gill a couple fish and hang em in the water while bleeding, they will swarm if there near.
