I am thinking about getting one, wondered if anyone has used one yet?

I do have one, but just got it this season and have not used it a lot yet. It is very light and have not had any issues with it in limited use.

how smooth is it.  how is it compared to the other spinning reels you have or have owned.

Great casting reels but have reservations about their spinning, I have heard they have improved though. If you get one keep us informed!!

^{It is smooth, quiet also. Like the handle grip. Drag seems to work well, arguably not as precise as some others, Stradic, Abu SX. I am planning to use it more this coming weekend, if I have more feedback following, I will update.}

I have 3 and have been using them for about a year now. I love them. I bought one and then bought the others, because I liked them so much. Very smooth, good drag, nice handle,a nd all around great reel.

I got to use the reel all day today, was impressed. Caught 17 bass, largest 4.04, handled all well. No issues and happy with purchase.

Sk1,from your schematic does it appear to be an easy reel to get into? I prefer to maintain my own reels and some spinners takedown are miserable.

Yes, does not look bad. A few parts as compared to some of my others, 93 total.
