I have a really old rod and reel I just spooled up, its a diawa BG10 and I really like it, just tore up some bass with some 8lb line and a small spinnerbait. Anybody else have this reel and have any complaints?

Those reels are gold. They last forever and are bulletproof. People here used them in saltwater for over 20 years without any maintenance and they still work like new.  I have the BG15 and i love it. Its one of those reels that will last you a life time with very little or no maintenance.

Yeah it has basically nothing to it... I opened it up to see what was inside and there is really nothing to it but its a fantastic reel.
