Alligator Alley Mm 39, North Side

Sunday 6/1/14, 7:00 - 11:00, cloudy, wind east 5-12, water light stain, levels low.

I met up with Dave Canesfan and we went out to MM39 on the Alley. Weather man said thunderstorms, so the alley is the only safe place under those conditions. Just tie up under a bridge, and sit it out safely. Temps were nice with wind at our backs and plenty of cloud cover. We ran to the dead-end and started catching right away. We threw a variety of plastics with good results, on almost all baits. We had a hand full of keeper size fish in the 2.5 size, with many more dinks in the mix. In 4 hours we caught over 80 bass, with loads of doubles and countless consecutive catches. Take advantage of the Alley before the water comes back up. Another fun day on the Alley.

Have you been up the Miami Canal lately? Those are solid numbers. Your right..that water comes back quick.

No, I have not been up the river in a while.  I know BassinLou has fished it several times recently.  Good luck Shane.

Hey Shane, was over at Miami Canal on Saturday. We caught a few 4lbrs and several 3's and 2's. Due to the storms we had to fish 27 and mm35. Overall we boated 30 fish. Water was way down.
