And Body From The Oroville Area

Featured Replies

I'd like to trade advise about our local spots and techniques.

I fish Oroville from the Lime saddle side. I use the finesse jig, senkos, tubes, spinner baits, tremmors (a chatter bait style with a bigger blade), rip baits, & top water plugs.

Been fishing Oroville sinse I moved to Paradise some 16 yrs. ago.

I'm from oroville. I mostly fish lake oroville. Not too fond of the afterbay.

Tarleet, afterbay can be great one day and a pile of junk the next. The place is great for practice for delta or clear lake and you just might stick a double digit.

Also from oroville.  Since im stuck to the bank I usually fish the wildlife ponds or any other ponds I can find.  Havent fished the lake much in the past few years.  Well what there is left of it....  Fish the afterbay from time to time.  Its so off and on.

Real soon the only way your going to be able to fish Oroville is by bank. I understand Bidwell is closing around the 20th of this month. Then it's the dirt ramp and a 4x4 to get your boat out of the water. Afterbay hear we come!

Is going to be gravel.  Idk how hard it will be to launch.

Once it gets wet it's a bear to get out without a 4x4.
