Anyone had any luck catching son bass in the lake verret and spillway area? Or anywhere in south louisiana? If so what are they hitting on

Your problem seems to be what you are wearing.

 

If you wear purple and gold and yell "Geaux Tigers!" after every cast and when you set the hook you will be very successful.

 

If you wear blue and green and are a Toolame fan you can give it up now and take up quilting.

 

Now repost and get your fanny on the water and try to find the pattern the sunfish are hitting as you walk looking for those cottonmouths in the spillway and on Lake Verret.

 

Don't forget your needle nose pliers and your shotgun for the snakes.
