Nice!  A buddy is leaving for Mille Lacs tomorrow.  Last year they had a tough time with walleye but hopefully he'll do as well as you did.  Any words of advice you'd be wiling to impart?

I found fish hanging on edges weather it was grass in 4-7 fow or our best spot was a nice ridges where it went from 8-12 ft the bigger ones were around 10 - 12 fow. If your not worried about gas spend a 10-15 minuets scouting just trolling. It really worked for us because we really fished two areas after finding rock and scattered grass. If u don't have a expensive graph system troll shallow then just back out when I find a lot of good rock or grass....

hope it helps...

Awesome fish! Had a great day 2 days ago fishing the mile roads ending up getting around 60 smallies.

Looks like you had a great couple days!  How heavy was the big one in the first pic?  Looks huge!

Wish I could say we had as good of a day today. Caught some, lost a 5 pounder off a jerkbait. Not a high number day for us.

That's an awesome day!

Congrats on your nice smallies, and your awesome outing!
