It depends on what you need in a rod, are you wanting an "all purpose" type set up? If you are looking for that kind of set up then the Verdict is what you want.  The Powell is too long for an all purpose and the Elite Tech smallmouth rod is closer to a medium light and is better suited for finesse presentations and small treble hook baits like poppers.

Not really sure I use a paticular "set-up" picked up a *** black 6'10" mh need other one. Have a bb1 and lexa 300 to match up.

Id think the verdict would be the more versatile of the three by the length and power ratings but ive never fished any of these particular rods.

What do you intend to use the rod for? An example would be for spinnerbaits, jigs, Texas rigs, all of those things I would say you need an all purpose rod. Now, if you a cranking or technique specific rod, well that is another story, but you really aren't going to get the best answer unless you are more specific. I really like the Fenwick but if you want it big jigs or worms then you'll be better served with something else. Do you know what I mean? You choose a rod on which one will do what you need it to do, a cranking rod is going to be terrible at fishing a worm and a jig and worm rod will be bad at fishing a crank.

The Lexa 300 is a big reel for big baits so the Powell would suit that reel the best. You would hate using that reel on the verdict or the fenwick.

Mostly spinnerbaits, jigs, rapala and senkos are the main forms.  I was going for the Powell but that thing is so long!

Not sure why I bought the 300, was thinking when I go to OBX it might be nice to have that kind of power there.
