Trailer On A Frog?

Featured Replies

I believe lake fork is the company that makes a trailer hook yo use of a hollow body frog. Anyone use it? Does it work or affect how the frog moves??

Unless you work the frog with little action, I think that trailer hook will eventually snag on the heavy stuff and defeats the purpose of a weedless frog.

agreed. The thin g I like best about a frog is you can throw it into the nastiest cover. If you aren't getting good hookups then bend out the hooks a tiny bit.

Thats what i was thinking too.

I've used a trailer hook when walking a frog in open water with success but don't even think about it in cover...

There are some times I wish it had one, especially if they just come up and try to kill it without swallowing.

But no havent used one. Most of the time I throw a frog where it wouldnt make much sense.
