Work Is Putting A Hurting On My Groove :-(

Featured Replies

So the last 3 weeks I have gone from fishing about 4 times a week for about 5 hours at a time to about 1 day a week for about an hour. Work has been slammed! Problem is when I go I try a lure for about 3 minutes and if no fish, switch it! This goes on for about 15 minutes then I cruise down to the next spot and same thing. The fishing deprevation has cost me my fishing patience lol. Anyone else have this issue before? Seems when I had all day I enjoyed it more. Now when I try and "squeeze in" some time it seems like I rush it. Maybe I should just slow it down???

Man I feel your pain. My whole fishing existence is an hour or two before work. My way is to pick one or two lure depending on location, time of yr, conditions and what I feel like fishing. I then stick it out. Sometimes it is a success and sometimes not. Most of the time I can usually get at least one taker.

I will add that yes I have trouble slowing down if I am on a good moving bait kick then need to finesse it.

Finesse is the hardest thing right now. When I get there I'm like rampant lol

It sucks you cant fish more, but more hours means more money! Much better than being out of a job.

And more money for fishing. :-)

Good point though. Now when I do go, I appreciate it much more.
