nwgabassmaster
I did an experiment, and I hope that the final result is more bass in the boat this year. I took two swimbaits, that was sent to me by an ex-friend of mine, and I put one in a bag of sample lures from V&M Lures. The reddish colored bait is the original color. The purple one was dyed by a worm in the bag, and now, it smells like Anise oil. What do you all think about the color?

Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted February 12, 2006 Super User Share Posted February 12, 2006 I had a few white grubs that I mixed in with a bag of Chartreuse grubs and left them in my trunk one summer. When I finally cleaned my trunk out that winter I discovered a whole new color. It was kind of like the color of ......... welll.............. pee. I thought it looked good, but the bass didn't seem to like it much.
nwgabassmaster
The pic is huge, I know, but the swimbaits are only like 3" long. They are great in the water.
