I bought some epoxy top coat today.I was wondering if anybody had used this,it is called Envirotex Lite.

Thanks Whittler!I new there was only a couple of types you liked.Guess I got lucky and ran into some.

This bait is top-coated with Devcon 2Ton epoxy. Both Devcon and E-Tex give a great finish but the E-Tex gives a lot more working time. If your only coating 1 or 2 baits at a time use Devcon and if your doing a dozen or so use E-Tex. A drying wheel is a must to get a smooth finish with either.

 

Where can i get the Devcon?

You can get Devcon epoxy at Walmart, hardware stores and most home centers. If you have a Walmart, look in their paint department. Devcon 2ton And Devcon 5Min. are usually carried by most stores. For repairs or gluing in a lip the 5min. is handy but if top-coating 2ton is better because it will not yellow with age.

I have a walmart and a home depot here so i will check with them. i need the stuff to put on cranks and topwaters after i repaint them.  so i will probably get the Devcon 2ton

Where do you get Envirotex Lite ?
